Our Story
A quieter kind of outdoor luxury
Casual Living is a new outdoor kitchen cabinet brand from Casual Comfort USA, a Lancaster PA manufacturer that has been quietly building outdoor furniture for the country’s finest patios, lake houses, and resort properties for more than a generation.
We started Casual Living because the rest of the outdoor kitchen market looked industrial — stainless boxes built for restaurant kitchens. Outdoor entertaining isn’t a commercial activity. It’s for making memories with friends, and it deserves cabinetry that feels like it belongs in a home.
Every Casual Living cabinet is built from marine-grade HDPE (aka “poly”), the same tough material used on boat decks and outdoor furniture. Stainless hardware and soft-close hinges and slides give every drawer the feel of fine indoor cabinetry. The construction is solid, and nothing will rot, peel, or rust.
That’s what we mean by built for the way you live outside.
Our Standards
The five things we won't compromise on
Specified for outdoor environments from the first sketch — not adapted from indoor cabinetry. Each of these is non-negotiable on every cabinet that ships from our workshop.
01 · Standard
Marine-Grade HDPE Construction
The same colored-through polymer specified on boat decks and coastal docks. It will not rot like wood, peel like laminate, or swell when water finds its way in.
Because the color goes all the way through the material, a deep scratch or scuff doesn’t reveal a different layer underneath. It still looks like the cabinet you bought, ten years in.
02 · Standard
Stainless Steel Hardware
Every hinge, slide, pull, and screw on a Casual Living cabinet is marine-rated stainless. Not plated. Not coated. Not ‘outdoor-grade’ painted steel.
The hardware is the part of an outdoor kitchen that gets touched, opened, and rained on most often. Specifying it correctly is the difference between a kitchen that stays beautiful and one that streaks rust by year three.

Soft-Close Hinges & Slides
A million-cycle rating on every drawer and door. The kind of closing feel you’d expect on fine indoor furniture — quiet, controlled, deliberate.
It sounds like a detail until you’ve used a kitchen without it. Then it sounds like the whole experience.

Long-Life Construction
Marine-grade material deserves marine-grade assembly. Stainless fasteners, reinforced joinery, and panels engineered to hold their lines through decades of sun, rain, and freeze-thaw winters.
